Maintenance & Tech Support Drupal Web Site Content Management System (CMS)
All our websites are built on the Drupal, Joomla and WordPress CMS platforms and allow customers to update their own content, however periodic updating is needed for security updates, system upgrades, version upgrades, and general maintenance. You may also wish to have us update content periodically or daily including, copy, photos/images, galleries, products, features, inventory, announcements, staff pages, contact information, or add additional features.
With our maintenance contracts, clients can purchase a certain amount of hours and then those hours will be used to complete any updates or changes to their site. We aim to have same day response for site problems and start on site changes within 24 hours of receiving a request.
1. Priority Service Maintenance Contract:
What is included?
- Priority "jump-the-queue" urgency service
- Guarantee maintenance requests will be fulfilled in 1-2 business days
(usually within 24 hours) - Express/emergency service available
- Work requests required to be performed after business hours, weekends or holidays will add an additional 50% time charge

- Hours can be used across multiple projects for same client.
Purchase Hours:
- From 5 to 10 hours: $150.00 / hour
- Over 10 hours: $110.00 / hour
Proactive Maintenance
Would you like us to take care of everything for you?
- Monitor and review site needs and email any recommendations (1 to 2 hours per month)
- Daily Site Monitoring: Site monitoring every night at 5:00pm to check pages are loading and working effectively
- Review and install Drupal version and module updates when needed
- Install security patches
- Renewal of Domain name (domain name cost not included)
- Site improvement recommendations and quarterly SEO reports with improvement suggestions if you are also on an SEO contract
2. Reactive Maintenance (As Needed Maintenance Contract)
- All work is pre-paid
- Minimum 2 hour billing
- Scheduled on an "as available" basis with northStudio.com's Site maintenance staff.
- Availability of development staff is not guaranteed and maintenance contracts have priority.
- Usually takes about 3-5 business days to complete an update on an as needed basis – may be sooner.

You can use your hours for tech support and/or any updates to an existing website, examples include:
- Essential HTML and image management
- Database and content management
- Web server administration and hosting services
- Distribution of email marketing campaigns
- Website development updates using a wide variety of web technologies
- Service includes content updates, additions, and/or reformatting of existing documents (such as Word or other HTML) as requested by the client.
- Adding Pages/Products/Photos/Graphics/Videos
- Adding new content to your site, text, articles, calendar, events, news
- Editing, revising, or updating your existing content and graphics
- Updating links, inserting new links
- Photoshop image editing, PDF creation form word, text
- Bug fixing and technical support.
- Technical Management of your site: server administration, HTTP, FTP and database connectivity, SMTP e-mail gateway, security and error-handling
- Modification and addition of content (announcements, articles, press releases)
- Hosting Issues
- Domain Names (does not include registration or renewal)
- Making seasonal changes to your website
